The journey toward the best version of yourself – The Choice – Article 1
From desire to direction: where do you want to start?
You made a wish.
Perhaps it has to do with a relationship, a new professional milestone, greater peace of mind, the desire to get to know yourself better, or the desire to build more stability and prosperity.
Expressing a wish is important because it allows you to recognize that there is a gap between what you are experiencing and what you would like to experience.
But as long as a desire remains vague, it doesn’t yet tell you where to start.
To turn it into the starting point of a journey, three steps are required:
Recognize the area of life in which it takes shape.
Understand what you truly want to experience, achieve or change.
Choose a word that represents the direction you want to take.
The path points to the area. Desire points the way.
This area helps us understand where desire lies.
Direction, on the other hand, stems from what you want to build, experiment with, or transform within that area.
Two people may choose the same path, but have very different desires.
For example, in the area of Love, one person might wish to find a genuine relationship;
another might want to regain trust after a disappointment;
yet another might feel the need to communicate more openly in the relationships they already have.
The area is the same, but the direction changes.
That’s why it’s not enough to simply choose Love, Career, Chakras, Knowledge, Prosperity, Health, Holism, or the Zodiac.
You need to listen to the question related to that area.
Love
What kind of relationship do you want to have?
Don’t just think about the presence of another person.
Ask yourself what emotions, values, and types of relationships you’d like to experience:
trust, respect, reciprocity, openness, or sharing.
Career
What goal do you want to achieve?
It could be a new job, greater independence, recognition of your skills, growing a business
or the courage to take on a new challenge.
Chakra
What kind of balance do you want to promote?
Try to identify where you feel the most scattered or tense, and what kind of balance you’d like to cultivate in your daily life.
Knowledge
What do you want to understand?
It could be knowledge you need to acquire, a situation you need to observe more clearly, or a part of yourself you want to explore further.
Prosperity
What do you want to grow?
Abundance isn’t just about money.
It can include opportunities, time, relationships, creativity, security, and the chance to achieve what truly matters to you.
You may be seeking greater financial peace of mind, new professional opportunities, stability, or a more balanced relationship with the resources you have.
Health
How do you want to take care of yourself?
The question isn’t just “What’s wrong?”, but “What act of self-care can I incorporate into my life?”
The answer might involve rest, exercise, listening to your needs, or seeking the right professional support.
Holism
What kind of harmony are you looking for?
You may be seeking greater harmony between your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and daily choices. Harmony doesn’t require perfection: it comes from listening to yourself and seeking your own personal balance.
Zodiac
What part of yourself do you want to get to know?
You may wish to gain a better understanding of certain personal characteristics, tendencies, or dynamics by using zodiac symbolism as a starting point for reflection.
From a general wish to a specific wish
Try to notice the difference between these two sentences:
“I want more abundance.”
“I want to build greater economic stability, discover new opportunities
and have the resources I need to carry out a project that’s important to me.”
The first sentence identifies a theme. The second begins to point in a certain direction.
Making a wish more specific doesn’t mean controlling every detail of the future.
It means understanding what that desire represents in your life.
You can help yourself by completing this sentence:
I want to __________ because I want to live _________.
For example:
- I would like to take on a new professional challenge because I want to recognize and make full use of my abilities.
- I want to build a genuine relationship because I want to experience trust, mutuality, and sharing.
- I want greater prosperity because I want to carry out my plans with stability and peace of mind.
- I want to regain my balance so that I can approach each day with greater mindfulness.
- I want to understand myself better so that I can make choices that are more in line with the person I want to become.
Choosing a word of intent
After identifying the area and clarifying your goal, choose a word that sums up the direction.
The “intention word” does not replace the wish, and it is not a quality chosen at random.
It’s a simple, personal reminder: it helps you remember what you want to cultivate as you move forward on your journey.
If you want to take on a new challenge, the key word might be courage.
If you want to live with greater peace of mind, it might be calm.
If you want to better understand a situation, it might be clarity.
If you want to build a more peaceful relationship with abundance, it could be trust, openness, stability, or prosperity.
Other possible words are:
- Balance
- Harmony
- Awareness
- Growth
- Authenticity
- Presence
- Freedom
- Determination
- Gratitude
- Treatment
There is no single word that is right for everyone. There is, however, a word that, at this moment, best represents the direction you’re heading in.
The exercise for the first stage
Take a piece of paper and answer these three questions honestly:
1. Which area would you like to start with?
Choose from Love, Career, Chakras, Knowledge, Prosperity, Health, Holism, and the Zodiac.
2. What do you really want to experience, achieve, or change?
Write a specific sentence. Don’t think about what you should want, but about what you truly feel is important to you.
3. Which word represents the direction you choose today?
Reread what you wrote and choose just one word.
That word will be the starting point of your journey.
A small choice can open up a new direction
Choosing a word doesn’t mean you’ve already found all the answers.
It means deciding where to start.
In the coming stages, this direction will become increasingly concrete:
we’ll explore your starting point, the person you want to become, and the actions that can support that choice over time.
Next, you can choose a guiding piece of Jewellery that represents your future direction and use the path Quantum Mind path to transform that intention into awareness, practice, and change.
But today, there’s only one step to take.
Choose your word.
