The journey to becoming the best version of yourself – The Guide – Article 5

The guide on the outside, the method on the inside: from jewellery to action with Quantum Mind

The journey to becoming the best version of yourself
Season 1 – Chapter 2 – The Guide – Article 5 of 5

There are times when we know exactly which direction we want to take. We’ve chosen a quality to cultivate, recognized what it means to us, and found a symbol to remind us of it.

Yet, simply remembering a direction isn’t always enough.

For a quality to become part of our daily lives, it must be cultivated through questions, decisions, and concrete actions.
This is where the meaning of jewellery meets the Quantum Mind method.

Jewellery as an external guide

Jewellery chosen with care can take on a deeply personal meaning.

The stones, colours, and composition become the visible symbol of a quality: courage, calm, confidence, clarity, stability, or any other trait we feel is important on our journey.

Wearing that piece of jewellery means carrying a choice with us.

Throughout the day, the simple act of looking at it or touching it can bring us back to our original intention. It can remind us of the direction we had decided to take before commitments, thoughts, and habits took over.

The piece of jewellery, however, does not walk the path for us. It does not make decisions or change our habits on its own. Its purpose is to accompany us and remind us of what we have chosen.

From symbol to method

A quality becomes real when it is expressed through our actions.

We may wish to be braver, but courage takes shape when we tackle a conversation we’ve been putting off, express an opinion, or take a step beyond our hesitation.

We can choose calm, but this quality becomes a reality only when we decide to pause, breathe, and respond without letting ourselves be swept up in the rush.

We can seek confidence, but it is through a choice, an attempt, or a fresh start that we learn to cultivate it.

Quality – Question – Action

Quantum Mind fits into this space. The method helps us explore the chosen quality and transform it into something observable and actionable.

What does it mean to develop a quality?

Cultivating a quality doesn’t mean forcing yourself to be someone you’re not.
It means creating opportunities to consciously express a part of ourselves that we want to strengthen.

The first question might be:

What does this quality mean to me today?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. For one person, courage might mean speaking up; for another, it might mean staying silent.
Trust could mean starting something new or giving yourself the time you need before making a decision.

A second question might be:

In what situation during my day can I put this into practice?

Finally:

What concrete action can I take?

An example: From courage to action

Let’s imagine we’ve chosen courage as our guiding quality.

The piece of jewellery we wear reminds us of this. But to put it into practice, we need to understand how it might manifest itself in the day ahead.

We can write:

The quality I’m choosing today is courage.

Then ask ourselves:

Where do I need to express this?

The answer might be:

In a conversation where I want to express my thoughts.

At this point, let’s define the action:

Today I will speak clearly and respectfully.

Every quality can lead to an action

The same process can be applied to different qualities.

Calm

Question:

When am I likely to react too quickly?

Action:

Before I answer, I’ll take three slow breaths.

Trust

Question:

What step am I still putting off because I’m afraid I’m not ready?

Action:

Today I’ll start with the first step I can take.

Clarity

Question:

What do I need to understand better?

Action:

I will write whatever I want, without correcting myself or judging myself.

Stability

Question:

What can help me stay centred throughout the day?

Action:

I will finish one task before starting another.

Awareness

Question:

What am I feeling right now?

Action:

I’ll stop for a few minutes to listen to what I’m feeling.

One or more featured pieces of jewellery

Our journey isn’t always defined by just one quality.

At times, we may need courage and stability; at other times, calm and clarity.
Qualities can coexist, reinforce one another, and change over time.

That’s why you can choose one or more featured pieces of jewellery.

Each creation can represent a different facet of our journey. Jewellery can accompany us for a long time, while another might be chosen for a special moment, a decision, or a milestone in our lives.

Consistency comes from practice

A single action can open up a possibility. Conscious repetition gives it continuity.

Cultivating a quality means returning to it, observing it from different perspectives, and putting it into practice in real-life situations. Some days it will be easy; other days we might forget it or fail to act as we had imagined.

This, too, is part of the journey.

Remember, apply, keep going.

The fifth and final post in the “The Guide” chapter concludes the journey in three steps:

Remember:
The jewel draws your attention back to the quality you’ve chosen.

Apply.
This method transforms that quality into a question and a concrete action.

Continue.
Daily practice brings consistency and continuity to the path you have chosen.

The jewellery and the method serve two different but complementary functions.

The path continues through you

A true guide doesn’t make decisions for us. They help us recognize the path and accompany us as we learn to walk it with greater awareness.

This piece of jewellery can remind you of your inner qualities. Quantum Mind can help you explore and cultivate them.
But it is you, through your choices, who bring it to life.

Carry quality with you.
Ask it questions.
Choose an action.
Observe what happens.
And start over, every day.
